The Long Barn at Le Woolshed sits on a beautiful rural property of 56 hectares with stunning elevations and majestic kauri bush. Conveniently located just over an hour north of Auckland, the building was an operating woolshed and has been renovated extensively, keeping the historical elements while adding all the modern comforts needed for an enjoyable and stylish getaway.
Your event hire package includes two nights in Le Woolshed's beautifully-appointed self-contained accommodation for up 10 guests, with plenty of space for either three couples or two families of five. Enjoy exclusive access to the Long Barn during this time for wedding preparations, the special day - and the luxury of waking up on site and easing into the day after your celebrations.
The Long Barn and celebration lawn sit adjacent to Le Woolshed's accommodation and were once also part of the woolshed operations. Together, they offer a wonderfully rustic space that comes complete with furniture and table linen, lighting (indoors and out), decor and signage from the Taylor & Co. collection, with glassware and cutlery included. The undercover space can comfortably host up to 120 guests (portaloo hire included) with multiple options and plenty of space to configure the celebration lawn post-ceremony - maybe bring in a food truck or two!

You’ll be spoilt for choice with a range of options on-site for wedding and event photography – from native bush backdrops to expansive vistas and stunning sunsets with peeps of the Kaipara Harbour.
